Books I bought during quarantine!!

I spent 70% of my pocket money buying books online since quarantine begun in March! 😭 

I kinda regret my decision in spending so much on books but whenever I look at their gorgeous spines on my bookshelves my remorse somehow turns into affections! 😂

So in this post, I will show you all the books that I bought in the past 3 months! (Because they deserves to be admired by everyone else too hehe) 

1. The Illuminae Files

I bought The Illuminae Files for a bargain price on Carousell! It costs me only RM63 (including postage!!) which I think is really cheap for a trilogy. 

Even though they are secondhand books, their conditions are still acceptable. There are some cracks on the spines but they are not noticeable unless you look closely. 

2. Britt-Marie Was Here

Price: RM23.60 including postage! I also bought this from carousell. I read A Man Called Ove a year ago, which was written by the same author, and I loved it so much that I just HAD to get this book as well!

3. Emily Series (Emily of New Moon, Emily's Quest)

Price: RM76! Unlike the other books in this list, these two are brand new that I bought from Bookurve! I've been dying trying to find this book everywhere..you have no idea how happy I felt when I found them on Bookurve! 😭❤

4. Anne Series (Anne of Windy Willows, Anne's House of Dreams, Anne of Ingleside)

Total price: RM56.70 including postage! I have been searching for the rest of the books in the Anne of Green Gables series and I FINALLY FOUND THEM!!

You have no idea how glad I felt when I found these secondhand books on shopee 😭 And they look so pretty on my shelf! 

5. Northanger Abbey 

Price: RM8! I LOVE Jane Austen so of course I have to read and buy all of her books 😂 I read and loved Emma, Sense & Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice! I hope I will enjoy this book too! Ooh and I bought this book from Carousell!

6. Rilla of Ingleside

Price: RM24 including postage! I bought this from Carousell too! This is the last book in the Anne series hehe. Now I only need the 7th book - Rainbow Valleys and my Anne series will be complete!

Sooo... here's the moment that I have been dreading for....let's sum up the total money I spent. DRUM ROLLS PLEASEE

RM251.30!! 

Yoooo what....that's almost RM300. This is my first time spending this much on books in a short period of time....... but nevermind....all the books I bought are worth every ringgit. (I mean 11 books for RM251.30? TAKE MY MONEY. OH AND TAKE MY WHOLE LIFE TOO!! HAHAH JOKING......unless.. )

Honestly I also wanted to buy The Lord of The Rings trilogy but I restrained myself and for the first time in my 18 years of life, I DECLARE a book buying ban on myself. Because I realized I need money to prepare for college lmfao *cries in broke*.
